1Pe 5:8 Be sensible, watch, because your adversary the Devil walks about as a roaring lion seeking someone he may devour;
The most hateful enemy to man's soul, had stricken many of my friends and beloved people, and even stroked me for a long time deeply.
I'm writing these lines hopefully they help anyone who is in need and to encourage others to help in that issue, And I'm writing these lines specially for my friend Kelly who I lost because of that illness.
Pro 15:13 A joyful heart makes a good face, but by grief of heart the spirit is stricken.
Depression can hit without a warning or a thought, it hits with no mercy, you feel like you are in a black pit, so over wrought. Sometimes you feel you want to cover yourself in a hole where you can't see, hear, or ever think again. never have to talk to anyone, Sometimes you don't even know the reason for this fear, this panic, this need to be isolated from everyone, you can't laugh, smile, you feel so unworthy and unloved, torn up inside, you loss friends, you loss work, you loss your identity and the will to have one. You feel like a loser. And overall you lose your inner peace, self-confidence and faith.
Isa 49:4 Then I said, I have labored in vain; I have spent My strength for nothing, and in vain; yet surely My judgment is with Jehovah, and My work with My God.
Depression is not a sin, most of the bibles characters passed through depression and despair, even the Lord Jesus passed through depression and sadness by his humane nature which is shown in his last night fighting depression praying to the Father. Saying to his disciples (Mat 26:38) My soul is deeply grieved, even unto death. Stay here and watch with Me. He prayed (Luk 22:44) And being in an agony, He prayed more intently. And His sweat became as drops of blood falling down onto the earth.
Ecc 2:17 So then I hated life; because the work that is done under the sun is evil to me; for all is vanity and striving after wind.
King Solomon felt depression and hated life, depression gave him another prospective of life, depression changed his look to life and expectations from it, his depression had a major role in shaping the wise king and his wisdom. He found out the life is not worthy to lose himself for, he lived his life more than anyone he said (Ecc 2:10) And all that my eyes desired, I did not set aside from them. I withheld not my heart from all joy; for my heart rejoiced from all my labor; and this was my part from all my labor. He had all the pleasure, the fun and glory he found it all vain. He said (Ecc 12:8) Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, all is vanity. Finally he found that life is as he says (Ecc 12:13) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments; for this applies to every man.
Joh 10:10 The thief does not come except that he may steal, and kill, and destroy.
I came that they may have life and may have it abundantly.
Luk 21:18 And a hair of your head shall in no way perish.
